B. Pharmacy is a four-year undergraduate program. The basic eligibility criterion to apply for the course is either a pass in 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of Mathematics or Biology from a recognized board and qualify in EAMCET test conducted by State authorities or a pass in D. Pharm course from any institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and qualify in ECET test conducted by State authorities. The curriculum and syllabi for the course are as per Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The program helps students to learn about the concepts of discovery, preparation, quality control and use of drugs with emphasis on human anatomy, active ingredients used in medications, drug action, drug dosage and quality control. In addition the program also concentrates on preparing the students and training them for industry-ready holistic pharmaceutical care in the practice setting. The industrial visits and equally important practical sessions ensure students receive a perfect exposure to the real-world situations while learning.
